
There is a huge difference between monitors of the past and those of today. It is common now to have monitors as big as 19 inches to 22 inches where we used to have 13 inches. With Windows 98 you can have two or more monitors per computer. Imagine being able to look at lab reports, depositions, or tax returns side by side on two or more monitors at the same time..
When desk space is a concern, LCD monitors are now available that are only about an inch.
