A network is already in place in many of your offices; however, in the past six months to a year, much has changed in networking. Many offices currently use what is a called a 10 Mbps 10Base-T connection.
During the past year, the standard has changed. The new standard allows a data transfer speed 10 times faster than before.
This faster transfer of data between your computers and printers is possible over your old (10Base-T) wire. Custom Computer Care & Consulting can upgrade your network to the new standard 100 Mbps 100Base-T. In doing this we will:
Run system diagnostics to identify potential system conflicts.
Replace any old network cards with new 100Base-T cards.
Install new 10/100Base Hub or Switch.
Clean the inside of your computer, including removing build-up from the system cooling fans.
Test all connections and all computers' ability to send and receive sample data.
